Data Processing Agreement

This document is a product-level DPA draft for Yukti.dev's current early-access stage. It should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before being used as a negotiated contractual DPA.

1. Roles

Where a customer uses Yukti.dev to process information relating to its clients, suppliers or customers, the customer determines the purpose of that processing and Yukti.dev acts as the service provider processing information on the customer's instructions, subject to the service design and applicable law.

2. Processing

Processing may include storing, organizing, parsing, matching and transferring information as necessary to provide requested accounting-automation workflows.

3. Confidentiality

Information processed through the service should be treated as confidential. Access is restricted according to the service's authentication and authorization mechanisms.

4. Security

Yukti.dev applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service.

5. Subprocessors

Yukti.dev may use reputable infrastructure and service providers necessary to operate the service. Relevant details may be provided where required.

6. Retention and deletion

Information is retained and deleted according to the service's operational requirements, applicable instructions and legal obligations.

7. Incidents

Where a qualifying security incident is identified, Yukti.dev will take reasonable steps to investigate, contain and communicate material information as required by applicable law or agreement.
